architecture, exclusive amenities and personalized service,
Scotia Plaza is home to an impressive roster of national and
international blue chip clients - including the head office
of The Bank of Nova Scotia. |
In
the Heart of the City
Bordered by King Street on the south, Bay Street on the west,
Yonge Street on the east and Adelaide Street on the north. The
Scotia Plaza complex consists of three integrated buildings, with
a combined 2,000,000 square feet of office space.

Inside Scotia Plaza
Scotia Plaza's magnificent interior is another reason why today's
major businesses have made it their preferred address. Inviting
entrances, soaring ceilings, timeless finishes and inspiring art
are all works of the highest architectural expression. More subtly,
they are assets that support your company's vision of success.

Impressive in every detail, the 130' high Atrium features imported
granite finishes throughout - and the same Tennessee marble that
distinguishes the original Bank of Nova Scotia building on King
Street. The Atrium links the past to the present in impressive
fashion.
The Atrium is also a showcase for selected artwork from the Bank's
distinguished collection. Decorating the north wall of the original
banking headquarters is a magnificent marble bas-relief sculpture
portraying workers from Canada's past, which is counter pointed
on the south wall of the Atrium by the largest oil painted abstract
mural ever commissioned in Canada - measuring over 100' high!
The focal point of the Atrium is the "Circle of Provinces",
a highly stylized banking service counter with dramatic columns
and a circular top showcasing provincial coats of arms. Staffed
by Scotiabank tellers during regular business hours, it offers
a full complement of banking services.
